Thank you Sooo much Hal. You have, once again, beautifully put words together that echo my exact experience. Slower. Even slower. I get so impatient with my pulled back life, that I listen to my mind rather than my body. Sometimes. Take care and thanks again.

When life shifts, again, and for the worse (for now), meditation teacher Tara Brach suggests the simple mantra: and this, too.

Thanks for helping me to remember this, Hal (and use it to replace my own I’M F*CKED!)

Spring is such a volatile time of transition. I don't think it is speedy. It is one step forward, perhaps two steps backward. It is a big tease...eliciting motivated response, then shutting down. Patience is always called for, so slowing down is a PERFECT response. Time to breathe, without the call of urgency. It is a challenge for someone who has a creative mind!...someone who remembers days of energetic creative surge. Life in a body is learning how to weather all speeds, all seasons, as we are called to adjust to change. Trusting the process seems a reliable roadmap. I am with you on the journey. It is difficult, but we are still students, so it is just part of the curriculum. Namaste, friend!

I clicked "like" to be in solidarity and community with you - not because I like this. Thank you for the depths of your perspectives and willingness to share them with us. Ammo for the future.

Have been moving slow and feeling guilty about it. Truth is times of dormancy can be beneficial!

Great reminder, Hal. I’m forever thinking “you should be doing x or x. In reality, I … not “you” should slow down and take joy in the world that’s rushing by. Thanks
