Hello Hal, I’m wondering if your sisters could get you some audiobooks. books and music sometimes can transport us to another time and place. Thank you for your perspective, which helps many people who read your words.

Hi Hal, Wonderful news about your daughter’s engagement! It sounds like a magical night. Thank you for checking in, and for sharing your experience. I know you don’t feel like you’re writing, but I think this newsletter counts. It’s written so honestly, I feel like I’m listening to you talk when I read it. And that’s something beautiful.

What great news Hal. We have many daughters and one son. It’s a wonderful thing to get that call from a guy you know really loves and will care for your little girl. Kudos!

Your illness or your job doesn’t define who you are. Your heart does. Your passion for good far outweighs your efforts in any job etc. I’m glad to know you through your pages of creative writing. Praying for healing for you my friend.

You are still writing Hal . Don’t say you are not . We are all in the loop with where you are at . That wouldn’t be so if you had not written your words .

Keep doing what you can and well done for defining that you are not bedridden . Many people would sink into that , you haven’t . You know absolutely the difference and because of that you will get up and about again . Sending you love Hal and lots of very good wishes for 2023

Hal, your story and how you manage is gut wrenchingly real and inspiring. Your capacity to be vulnerable and strong can help change lives. I held you up in my sermon about resistance on Jan.1, as a source of inspiration. You are loved with and without your ideas, music and ping pong.

Dear Hal,

Have got to know you briefly from my friend Mango and all I can say is that you are one strong person. Holding you up in prayer and trusting that God will give you a life changing testimony that will shake everyone that has encountered you.

Congratulations to your daughter Hallie. It's awesome and beyond explanation how God has everything figured out. That smile you got on her engagement wasn't a mare coincidence. God knew you needed something to cheer your spirit up that you may live to fight harder.

You will come out strong in Jesus name.

Brave up and hold on, this season will be over.

Sending you lots of love from this end of the world 🤗🤗🤗❤️
