Oh Hal-I’m so sorry that you had a heap of terrible losses. Peter Amidon changed my life when I spent a week at the Harmony of Song and Dance camp that he and Mary Alice founded in 2011. I feel like everyone whose life he touched is one family so you are now my family. With gratitude for your beautiful tributes.
A new spoken word piece at just the right time, wow. I’ve had a horrible night of painsomnia, as well as being in process of mourning my mother, who passed about a month ago.
You feel like dear friend, Hal. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. ❤️✨
Thank you, dear Hal. I feel so cold these days too--not ready for the change in seasons. But your podcast warmed me in many ways. Bundle up, and know that even from a distance, you make a difference. ♥️ 🍂🍁
I read your words, knowing I’d rather hear your voice (but I can imagine it…and it is a lovely voice.) A voice of love and kindness that I remember so fondly from Summer Institute. I was in a hurry, so I read your words. I still was deeply moved. I send my return thoughts of loving kindness & gratitude to you, Hal. I also continue to create art, as best I can, despite a chronic pain syndrome. Through doing the best we can, may we be content with the joy & creativity alive in us. Time is an illusion, and your words of gratitude for the people you lost still have been received. I trust & believe this to be true. Namaste, dear one.
I just want to extend my condolences for your losses. Yes, we are all just here temporarily. I also think it’s lovely that you extended your love and appreciation to your mother. Someone who is still with you today.
Thank you for sharing a piece of your life and for just being you.
Hal, it's Benjie here. I also never met Peter Amidon, but relied heavily on his books of dances and games when I was teaching, and always felt very grateful to him for creating them.
Hal- you are still a minister-your honesty and loving musings always touch my soul.

Oh Terry, I will always remember visiting his studio at KSU. And dear dear Deborah...my heart goes out.
Hal, I'm so sorry for your recent losses. I understand how important these people were in your journey.
We're all here for only a short while, then we're gone from this life.
My thoughts are with you in your sadness.
