God blessed you with an amazing family, Hal —-which includes you. I live in Ohio, work for a ME/CFS organization and have 54 years experience being a sister…if you ever need someone to listen to you cry, bitch or help you edit a written piece, I am only a 2 hour drive away—-I am serious. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️

You ARE blessed with wonderful sisters , all of whom I have had the good fortune to spend time with. They are amazing and talented as are you. As an only child, I learned early to add everyone that I love to my "family." So, I feel so blessed to have so many, many brothers and sisters, parents and children. Peace to you in the New Year.

My favorite kind of writing sounds more like what you just spoke...an authentic voice. As an "ex" hippie I related to the judgmental attitude toward "straights." I look back on that and laugh now, but at the time it seemed important to take a stand against "the man." Love IS the answer...one person at a time. I also live with chronic health issues...and mine are scary to me too. I never know what a day will be like. I place my hand over my heart and whisper, "You are safe in this moment." May this year give you lengthy moments of feeling good, Hal. Blessings to those wonderful sisters of yours! Oh...and I'm off to subscribe to your sister's Substack.

Thank you Hal, for yet another terrific podcast. I like them spoken into a microphone or written and then spoken. How wonderful that you appreciate the gift of your family. I can totally relate to the dips and hills of ME. I too have called people up, one in particular for weeks on end, maybe months just to vent about the feelings of the illness. Your podcast was, to me, a kaleidoscope of joy, pain, gratitude and hope.

Blessings to you today and all of 2025. Thanks for these musings, which are very helpful to me.
