It goes to show that a politically correct song that you don’t really feel can’t hold a candle to a politically incorrect song right from the heart! The video is cute too…and technically very impressive.
I have to add that I feel great resistance to meditation, especially gratitude meditation…but sometimes the gratitude sneaks up on me unexpectedly.
I like this very much Hal, I know you are talking about gradtitude and thankfulness but it also spoke to me of making a bucket list which I have never even considered until lately. Hope that makes sense and doesn't detract from gradititude and thankfulness list. Love you.
Oh yeah - Dave and I both so remember when you sang this song at that Gratitude service. I was gobsmacked - like - he NAILED it. That's exactly how it feels when you've got the "I don't wanna" blues with something you're supposed to do that's supposed to be good for you. No. I'm comfortable with the status quo which requires no change, thank you very much. And you sang it with such power and intensity that day too - it just grabbed our attention immediately and we were completely drawn in thinking - "YES!".
