I was listening in as I sat in my window with the warm sun shining (we've broken the back on winter yay!

I felt v touched by your sharing. Around here I have to take measures to get quiet and am grateful for wax earplugs and £300 Bose noise cancelling headphones to allow spiritual bliss. In my previous life I used to adore sitting with elderly patients that I was nursing. To come into calm and quiet in their room away from the frenetic activity out on the ward . To just be. It was like no other experience I'd had before being in the company of someone in their wisdom yrs, felt v spiritual and calming.

The other area is nature, so many incredible experiences in various communities and solo. Then all my various grps and activities I used to do sitting in circle with people, sitting in a place beyond 'this reality' is a privalege I cherish.

But for today it's me and the ear plugs, the sun and yet another m. E cfs flare. This uk rebel tidyed my lounge top early in the day and my oh my am I paying the price...

Best wishes for your quiet space and sharing, a good idea :) people can be a pain up the ass but can also be truly wonderful. I get the feeling u have a lot of the latter... 🙏🤍

will try zoom soon. It's easier after church when my daughter is home, which is sundays some times. It's hard to get people to slow down, I know 😊.

What a wonderful idea. I’d love to join you on Zoom from Australia but we are 15 hours ahead, making the Sunday session 8am on Monday morning. By then I’m on the road to work. Let us know if you add any other Zoom sessions. In the meantime enjoy the company of wonderful people who are able to make it in person. Best wishes, Viktoria 🌷🙏

Hi Hal, I have not been into my email for a week, so just saw this today. Count me in for tomorrow. March 3rd. Zoom of course. I am so glad you had this idea. I think it may be really good for me and I always enjoy spending time with you. I've been very ill so haven't even seen or heard you on a gatherilng. I am sure the Thursday gathering is an answer to prayer as a way to help you and I am also sure this will be too.

One thing I miss very much is human contact. This just might be an answer to help me and help you, at the same time. Wish it could be in person but severall hundred miles from each doesn't work.

Really looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. I love you.

Sitting in silence with you is a powerful spiritual experience. I hope others can join you with open minds, open hearts and open souls. Thank you for the opportunity. See you next week

Hello Hal, have you ever considered SSRIs for your anxiety and depression? They also help fatigue. I'm fairly knowledgeable of cfs because my adult nephew lives with moderate to sometimes severe cfs such as yourself. He resisted antidepressants because he said he was sick, not depressed. But the truth is he was both. Anti-depressants have been a total game changer for him. His anxiety has been kicked to the curb, his outlook on life is much more cheerful and best of all, his fatigue is about 90% improved! It was just what his overworked nerves needed. Please please look into it if you haven't. They could save your life.

What a wonderful idea! Hope you get your time filled for as much as you can handle. Since I have the wonderful opportunity to see you on Sundays, I won't fill your time slots. But, shoot me a text when you have an opening or you just need someone to join in silence. Usually I am free. Peace, my friend.

I have a real similar “life story”(other than all the biking) so very familiar with the contrast between “natural living” and “modern living”: totally sure it’s modern lifestyle that is causing so much illness particularly the “American Dream”(becoming a nightmare!) because an opportunity to live “quiet life” in VT has hugely improved my health and well-being(after living in NY)…know would be still be severely ill otherwise
