It's a good job you are so charming with the hottest voice around Hal Walker 😄.
Well despite both having CFS and not living by each other, we do a great job at keeping things lively.
I love that you got some improvement and the first thing you did was book a ticket. I love your bravery for facing that wild, giant journey with such a frightening illness, with no real guarantee your body could handle it.
It didn't happen our way, but it must have been the right way or it wouldn't have happened. Hopefully if it is meant for us, one day, the sea will part.
Your artwork is magnificent. I am so glad that it opened up for you. I am so sorry your trip did not work out. I had such high hopes for you and Emma! You have a year to find the way! 1,000 blessings, good juju, prayers, and love coming to you and Emma.
I kept reading hoping the ending would be different than I already knew it to be. I’m so sorry, Hal. I think you’re looking at it the right “way” (haha). The way will open. I think all of the stress and excitement caused that crash. I bet you won’t crash next time the trip approaches. You got all the wiggles out this time.
Oh I wanted this for you but best stories are when something almost happens is thwarted and then tantalizingly comes together( and it will). I believe everything will align and it will be incredible. Meantime enjoy your new creative outlet and wait for the portal to open.
One: I've done a lot of international travel over the last twenty years and recommend Swift Passport services in Chicago. You can get a new passport in days from the comfort of home. It's not the cheapest route, but they're a great service. They're very helpful, and with a call, you may get a discount given your circumstances. I've not used them for a new passport, but several times for foreign visas which can be more complicated than getting a passport. Their website lists a service to get a new passport in 3-4 days as the most expensive option. If you haven't yet gotten one yet, check it out.
Two, perhaps this wasn't the way and this wasn't the time to travel for you or Emma to host (and congratulations on that connection!)? I hope you get to make your trip in time and it's wonderful.
What a wonderful sharing of how the way does or does not open but we continue in faith that our good God is taking care of everything. Thank you for the phrase, "they way opens." I'm going to remember it.
Luv you, Hal! The way opens if we let it! This happened to me when I met Swester Klarissa in Hildesheim, Germany, in 2004. She helped birth me during WWII & took care of me for 2 weeks. She hid 3 female physicians from the Nazis! An angel in disguise! My trip was not planned!
I can certainly relate to you passport issue. I also procrastinate and just kind of assume things will work out. I am looking forward to hearing about your trip when it happens. Glad you could get access to a ticket for sometime this year.

It was a beautiful dream and gave us all hours of joy planning and imagining . Who knows what the future will bring.

Thank you Carol ❤️
Hal, I wish you posted every day! I know, selfish of me.
The way is still open. You have that ticket! You’re going to England within the year… and you still have the whole beautiful thing to look forward to!
You and Annette are fated to meet. And you will. Your ways are star-crossed. ⭐️✨🤩
Oh… your sacred geometry is exquisitely beautiful. It’s a gift from the universe!

"NBL" My made-up acronym....Nothing but love.
I am glad that you weren’t crushed by this crushing disappointment. I think it will yet come together.
On another note, I’m recovering at home from quadruple bypass surgery. Still bery weak, but looking forward to full recovery.

So, two takes on this Hal.

Sacred geometry?

I'm so sorry to hear this Hal. I was hoping to hear next of your joys of your trip to see Emma in England.
You still have time though to make good on your dream. You'll get your passport and travel to England. I"m hopeful that is your way Hal.
Fritz.
PS, I better check my passport too.
