This is good stuff. I am not much of a TikTok person, but I may have to download the app again if I can help share your stuff. You are in my thoughts often and although I don't care for the reason that you are doing this sharing, I am getting to know you better because of it. Always look for the silver linings, right?

This is great Hal. Way to build community and to get the word out about this medical condition.

That is great Hal! I will be in touch when I have plans finalized for coming into town. I am hoping to come down in February. Also, I did get to watch "Unrest" and I learned a lot.

You've always been an inspiration since the day we met, old friend. Little did I know that the year we met was also the year you met ME/CFS. I love you, friend.

Hi Betsy. Thank you for reading. Did we meet in ‘92? I started at the church in ‘95. Did we know each other before that? I was always intimidated by you. 🥰 :) h

YES we met before you started professionally at the UU. I moved to Kent in 1990! The coop was my favorite place, plus I took classes at Kent and did plays there. Then I became friends with Leroy, Jeff Ingram, and I even knew John Paget through Wendy Mann. I became a member of UU in 1990 and attended the Environmental Council. We'd see one another here and there and I have a distinct memory of encouraging you when applying for the position of music director. I even recall a talk you gave in the church basement about dealing with major depression, which at the time I was in treatment for. I sometimes deal with anxiety by pretending to be very sure of myself or by getting very very quiet...both of those behaviors plus a tone in my voice seem to have a way of intimidating. HA!
